"SCHWARZ GEMACHT": a play that examines questions of identity through the eyes of an #AfroGerman Scritta da Alexander Thomas e diretta da Daniel Brunet, Schwarz Gemacht è una rappresentazione teatrale ambientata nella Germania nazista del 1938 in cui il protagonista Claus s'interroga ed esamina la propria identità di afrotedesco. Lo spettacolo è in scena all' English Theatre Berlin fino a metà marzo. Se vi capita di passare per Berlino, andate ad assistere a questa rappresentazione. #AfroEurope

This poem by May Ayim reflects the experience of young Africans born outside the Continent: being African and German (or French or Italian), being German  (or French or Italian) and Black at the same time. This is the beauty of having two souls: they fuse and move synergically beyond any border allowing you to be "here and there" at the same instant.

Cuando vi este vídeo por primera vez gracias a un amigo de Amsterdam me reafirmó la lucha que seguimos teniendo los AFRO-EUROPEOS , no me gusta decir mucho esta palabra ya que se contradice, pero nos entendemos no? Igual que cuando decimos Negro.

En toda europa, pese a las comunidades afro que se han creado hace tan solo un par de generaciones, se ha sufrido esta opresión, por esa misma razón cuando conocemos a cualquier hermano de cualquier parte de europa automaticamente conectamos, sabemos que hemos vivido situación.

Admiro a los artistas que saben expresar este sentimiento y crean música que llega y representa.

Atentos a este pedazo de vídeo hecho del tirón.
