What do you think about people on here asking for money?

I’m perfectly fine with it 9 times out of 10. There was a time in my life in my early 20s when I was broke as fuck eating top ramen every single day, not knowing how I was going to pay rent. I had to ask people to borrow money, I had to hustle and do shit I didn’t want to do. There were plenty of moments where I had to humble myself just to survive because I don’t come from a family that I can depend on for money when I’m in a rough spot. 

Gofundme wasn’t around when I was in that spot, if it were maybe I would have asked for money too. 

With all that said, I would be lying if I fronted like I didn’t roll my eyes at some of the shit on here. 

Do I think some of them are just lazy? Yes.Do I think some of them are lying? Yes. Do I think some of them are taking advantage of their followers? Yes. 

I don’t let my suspicions ruin it for everyone though.

After 9/11, I was in 5th grade I was harassed and bullied by both teachers and students. I would get called names like terrorist, camel nigger, go back to your country, you don't belong here, I was basically boycotted and I didn't have a lot of friends back then. I usually sat alone at lunch. I wore hijab starting in 5th grade I was harassed by both whites and blacks. To this day, I don't trust or get close to non Muslim black people b/c a lot of them were bigots, they tried to say i wasnt black
