I hate exposed stair risers. I know it’s supposed to be all modern and cool to have floating or open treads in your Cool Avant Garde house, but I don’t know how anyone isn’t constantly plagued by the fear of causing yourself horrific injuries by like, getting your leg caught between the stairs or just Falling Off since apparently railings are Uncool
