Let me hug Lace now.
Lace perks up when he heard the voice, making him look over at you. He squints a little, his wings flapping lightly. He was checking to make sure you weren't a threat to him. If you were, he would just run away with his ability to go hidden.
You, of course, weren't and it seemed all you wanted was a hug...
When you hugged him, he was cold but so soft! His fluff was soft enough to sleep on and he slowly wraps his wings around you the best that he could, shutting his eye. The other was damaged.
