These two little beings cling to me and just like a good fitting midi dress that I would wear for #GirlsNightOut I embrace the way it makes me feel inside. Beautiful, confident and secure from all of my flaws; I own the blessing in moments like this. ... I suffered with postpartum depression after Dallace (really bad) and lately I've been feeling as though because of my emotional and mental battles I was robbed of the time to fully enjoy her as a newborn. With Dylan I felt extremely empowered; it's another story behind that, which I may share another time. The point here is that now, when I find myself in moments like this, I stop everything to indulge in it. There was a time I would shun off due to my mood or simply because I didn't want them to see me crying. Now I stay in the moment and it has truly helped in shifting my thoughts and my emotions. I can sit and take in the smell of this innocence and pure God given love that these two little crazies bring me😄 ... My oldest son was sitting right in front of me not paying us any mind but they surround me and as long as we're all together, they're okay. I don't question my parenting in moments like because in a memory as this, I feel so confident, thanks to how peaceful and protective they feel, I know I'm doing just fine. These two have bought me both so much joy and clarity, one would not understand. I love all of them, so they most certainly will not be taken for granted. ... Cherish your children!
