well it’s a couple things actually

1. i’m currently jobless and have no obligations whatsoever, and a LOT of free time. I basically just read 2. I’ve only been reading fic 3. Around 10 of these fic were under 15k words and very short, so I usually read a few a day.  I went one day reading a 30k one, a 15k one, and a 109k one  Honestly, its basically lots of free time, and some short stories in between the long ones. It goes a long way towards your goal!

Omg do I EVER but like, they’re all pretty popular ones tbh that have been around forever. I’ll name a few anyway(lol more than a few, sorry not sorry) also pretty much all of these have some kind of smut, some less than others 

At Your Service by Faithwood Hogwarts students are in danger; Harry is determined to save them all. There's only one thing he knows for certain: Draco Malfoy is somehow involved. (read this two days ago and it was a very cool mystery one with an intriguing plot and I loved it. Anything by faithwood is amazing so read it)

Mental by Sara Holmes Harry has had quite enough of sharing his mind with someone else, thankyouverymuch. A miscast Legilimecy spell says otherwise. (i LOVE THIS ONE okay it’s one of my faves ever. TBH anything by sara is amazing )

Starts With a Spin by Maxine It started with the spin of a bottle, and now Harry and Draco have gotten themselves so far into their own game there's almost no way out again. Except to keep playing. (this one is VERY smutty so like idk if  you’re into that or whatever but it’s also got some of the most realistic sex i’ve ever read. I also love the whole spin the bottle idea, very corny but GAH I LOVE.)

Right Hand Red by lumosed-quill  Harry felt Malfoy's breath on his lips as they came together over the bottle, hands firmly planted on the floor as though they each needed their familiar soil, refusing to cross into enemy territory.Except that Malfoy no longer felt like his enemy. Malfoy felt inevitable. (loved this one) Draco Malfoy, It’s Your Lucky Day by faithwood (again cause fathwood is amazeballs) Even though he's unarmed, injured, lost in the Forbidden Forest, and facing a possible murder charge, Draco Malfoy gets lucky. (thsi ones shorter around 37k words but the plot is so cool and i love Draco in this GAHHH )

Catch 22 (this one is on ffnet) As if NEWTS weren't enough, Dumbledore's gone and had another one of his bright ideas. If all ends well, the Houses will be getting along in no time. Or according to Harry's correspondent, hailing the Apocalypse. OotP/HBP/DH disregaded. (cool idea) Heart’s Desire  by sprout2012 Returning for his 7th year Harry has a bad week. A potions mishap causes Harry & Draco to fall into a potion induced coma. Where they dream about their hearts desires, not realising they are actually asleep. Harry discovers he desires a peaceful life without Voldemort & someone to Love. What shocks him the most, is that his heart truly desires Draco Malfoy. (okay this is kinda AU as the induced coma is set in the muggle world but this was SO SWEET I BASICALLY BECAME A LOLLIPOP so yeah read read read) Salt on the Western Wind by Saras_Girl When the war isn’t quite as over as it first appears, a guilt-ridden Harry is sent to a mysterious safe-house. Among sandwiches, insomnia, and Mills & Boon, he discovers something quite unexpected. (starts off shakey, but i ended up loving it due to the setting and harry’s characterization) 

andddd literally i love all accidental bonding fics the post popular is obviously Bond by Anna Fugazi  , But I also really liked Potions and Unforseen Urges which by DMHP2014  on ffnet and it’s smutty (with the hottest scenes i’ve read in a while i had to keep stopping cause i felt like i was intruding) and felt real and it’s GLORIOUS. 

oh, and Gold Tinted Spectacles by Beren. A classic, and an amazing one at that. SOOOOOO good. okay. that’s more than enough for now, if you need more, just hit me up and ill give ya some cause I have heaps haha
