so it's a Holi morning and i'm lovin' it so far. it mostly consisted of good food, my face being coloured (doesn't look so bad), staying from everything wet, good food, more food and a few absurdities.
yes, absurdities because you see all kinds of people downstairs doing gross things with eggs and grease (ew), bolloywood-esque things with pretty colours (yay!) and playing THE most strange songs (had me wut-ting).
i heard one song which went something like this, "samundar mein naha ke aur bhi namkeen ho gayi ho." which translates into "after talking a bath in the sea you have become more salty." now mind you this is a flirtatiously funny song (supposedly) but why the fuck would call your girl SALTY??!!!/ i'd have understood had it been "masaledaar" etc because that would translate into the girl being spicy (????).
i dont get it.
so i'm gonna listen to this song on youtube and send a text to my buff saying "happy holi may you become more salty/namkeen." because that is soooooooooo flattering.
i am now gonna go back to my balcony to listen to and watch more of such absurdities.
