Lily was happy with how things had turned out in her life. She was married to wonderful man, had four wonderful children and a lovely, cozy home in which to raise them. She hadn’t been very picky when it came to picking out there home, she really only had one stipulation, and that was that Mary live next door. 

It started out as a joke really, some time back in fourth year maybe. “Oh wouldn’t it be great if we we always this close to one another? If your room was always just a minutes walk from mine?” But then they realized that that would be pretty great. And so it had become a reality for them. They were neighbors and they got to watch their kids grow up together. 

They were having a cookout later that evening, their families and a couple others that they’d decided to invite from the neighborhood. Harry and James had both complained to her that there was going to be a big Quidditch match that evening, and that they couldn’t have the radio on outside if she invited muggles, but they would live and Lily would get to see that adorable baby from across the street. 

She was working on a potato salad in her kitchen when she heard footsteps coming from the back porch. “Did you make the punch?” She called out to Mary, at least, that’s who she assumed was walking in. “The non-adult punch anyway?” She chuckled.

He shared that many of his friends and colleagues in the industry have yet to come out. Bomer said coming out is difficult because it allows other people to define you. As he put it "You want to be able to have complete freedom over your identity."

War had been horrible for everyone, she and ted had done the best they could for Dora, having her go to school, providing a good home, and just making her be the happiest girl alive under the circumstances.

However war was war and in war there were losses. 

Bellatrix had gone to the Longbottoms just as Ted was into visit, she tried to torture information out of them and out of Ted and the only one that had come alive was Frank. He was shaken at first, traumatised but alive and he and Andromeda made the best of it; Andromeda did the motherly things that Alice were supposed to do with Neville, and Frank did the fatherly things Dora needed.

They had planned a dinner for the four of them, letting the kids watch a movie, Dora was about to go to Hogwarts and Andromeda understood that Neville was going to miss having her around. So she didn’t mind having her house invaded by the boys, she let them make a blanket fort and they were enjoying the movie while she made snacks in the kitchen.

She was about to go in when she saw Frank on the doorway, “Are they giving you too much trouble?”
