i thought my being missing for six hours but actually just asleep under the couch at age five mightve been mildly traumatic but i figured the time i fell into the water under a bridge at age nine and almost drowned bc my dress got caught between my legs and thus i hated dresses and didnt wear a long dress for the next seven years was probably actually traumatic

From five years old she was alone with nothing but her cat Rocks and a shoebox filled with money. Not understanding why she is alone.

Dr. Christopher Petty’s first language was Latin, which his family members found surprising because, as a child, he wasn’t acquainted anyone who spoke Latin. By the time he was five years old, he fluently spoke nine languages and frequently spent his spare time translating classical pieces of literature into modern English.

Goodbye Four

Today was her last day as a four-year-old. Tomorrow, she is five. She’s been looking forward to this moment for a long time. Five is big. Five is awesome.

Four was pretty awesome too, though. She started kindergarten. She is less shy, more brave, and so awesome. Her drawings and ideas amaze me daily. It’s an honor every day to get a front row seat to this little life. Little getting bigger.
