Riding the wave

Sharon forwarded me this “Age Test.” 

The  photo is off the Internet, but it could have been taken in the bedroom we shared about, oh ... 35 years ago.

It was around 1980 when we went to a store called Sounds and Diversion, right on Washington Square, in downtown Lansing, and bought our first waterbed. 

I recall Sharon’s mother looking it over and saying, “Fine - but where do you actually sleep?”

A few years later we bought a fancier one. There were baffles inside the mattress, which made it less sloshy.

It was around 1990 when we started sleeping on dry land again.

So, do people still use waterbeds ...?
