Paper mache dog from high school
Siblings: August 1975
@charlesmckinnon dude,
I’m really not in the mood for hearing how you and Mary are going or how cute your little date was and all that stomach churning crap.
So don’t come in here and start going on and on about it alright?
I was here first. Don’t like me, go sit in one of the other thousand rooms in the place. I’m sure they’re all nice and big to contain your head.
Just leave me alone man.
Homework: September 1975
@marauder-sirius right.
You are aware it’s O.W.L’s this year?
You can’t say you’re not because I just told you.
When are we setting up this homework schedule then. I say Tuesday’s and Thursdays. That gives you Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s off. No excuses.
more than friends; adora {1988}
@nymphdora-tonks
It was no secret that at times, Addie could like the attention that her looks gained her. Sure, she’d dealt with unwanted advances, but sometimes boys doing whatever they could to win her affection was nice. She was still young and new better than to be sleeping around at a young age, but it didn’t hurt to have a make-out session in a broom closet, did it? Plus, for the last few months, she’d been dealing with seemingly unrequited feelings from her best friend, Nymphadora, so she found some sort of solace from the attention she got elsewhere.
She’d been sitting on a bench in one of the halls when a Ravenclaw boy a year above her approached her. They’d spoken before, and he’d always been kind to her, so she didn’t mind his flirting. She even reciprocated some as she leaned in slightly as she spoke and played with her hair a little bit more than she perhaps normally would. She was laughing at something she said when she saw a familiar friend walking over. “Oh, hey, Dora. You know Elijah, right?”
Bubbling Cauldrons: 1996 (Luna&Rolf)
Rolf Scamander was a quiet boy. His father, Scott was very much like his Great Aunt Queenie. Loud, funny and able to light up a room in an instance. He however, was more like his Grandfather and Grandmother. He preferred solitude and literature. He still carried a big passion for magical creatures as did all the Scamander boys. Yet, he was a little more reserved about it.
School was something that Rolf enjoyed, somewhat. However, he spent most of his time and attention on school work, classes and clubs. He loved chess club and potions. He’d debated duelling but still hadn’t found the courage to place his name on the list. Some of the Slytherin’s intimidated him.
Fifth year meant O.W.L’s and Rolf was eager to get the highest grades possible. Career choice was where he found himself a little lost. The boy wanted to carry on the line of Magizoology in his family but also wanted to ensure he had the option to try something else. Maybe an Auror or a Healer? A ministry position maybe? A journalist. He knew he’d be comfortable with the more choice he had.
Potions was something Rolf enjoyed, their teacher Professor Snape was less enjoyable but undoubtedly he was one of the best potion masters so he felt his knowledge could forgive his high temper and lack of manners.
Calming Draught. That was their given assignment.
He listened as they were partnered up and then recognised a familiar face as being placed with his. Rolf had seen Luna around. In fact their parents were good friends and upon his first year Scott had insisted he keep an eye out for her. He liked Luna, of course she could be a little odd but weren’t the best people always a little odd. Where’s the fun in being normal?
Rolf was a shy boy so he took a moment before he got up and went over. “Hi, Luna” he offered a small smile and sat down beside her as he set his books neatly into his new space. “How have you been?” he asked quietly and looked away slightly as he felt a bit of a fool. He hated when his confidence would just up and leave him dangling in mid air.

History of Magic: 1975 (Marlene&Sirius)
He could feel his eyes closing with each passing word. It didn’t help that it was a snugly warm classroom and he hadn’t had much sleep the night before. He’d decided to prank Peter with the help of James. Now the smallest boy of their group was sporting some lovely pink hair. It was all in good fun though.
Sirius perked up slightly at the mention of his name being partnered with someone for an assignment. It took a moment for it to register before he glanced over at Marlene McKinnon and gave a small wave with a smirk.
It was quite amusing how much she’d hated him for what seemed to him, no apparent reason. However he had noticed she’d started to warm up to him as of late. This would be interesting.
The eldest Black wasn’t very enthusiastic on the subject of the History of Magic. Most students were but he only had to finish this year of it and he never had to sit another sleep inducing class lead by Binns.
He got up and gathered his few belongings before sliding into a seat beside her with a grin. “Hey honey, you miss me?”

Lesson Learned: Winter 1977 (Severus&Thomas)
Thomas came in late to the common room. Later than he should do. The past year he’d really come out of his shell and the ego only excelled with the encouragement of Barty Crouch Jr.
He’d spent his evening torturing some poor Hufflepuff first year. Humiliation was his main tactic. His last victim had cried when Thomas used his wand to cause the boys trousers to fall down as he was walking through a busy corridor. He’d then spent the rest of the evening making a Gryffindor hand over his sweets after he was bragging about his parents sending them to him. He didn’t realise how cruel he could be and after he himself had spent his first year in the exact same position.
Smugly walking into the common room as he tossed a sweet wrapper into the open fire and sat down on the couch. It was nice to have the common room to himself as most of the other students were in their beds.
