Wait For It: 1974 (Barty &Thomas)
Meet him in the common room. Check.
Thomas had grown quite close and truthfully, a little dependent on Barty Crouch Jr. The offered friendship had been like bait on a hook to the little fish. He’d spent a couple of days a week with Barty but it wasn’t long. Usually a quick hello or get him to do some chore. Thomas hadn’t minded that all too much. He was glad of the company and was a little prideful of his new found friendship. Especially with Barty’s reputation in the Slytherin house and to be called his friend sure did seem like an honour.
Walk through the corridor. Act cool. Don’t smile too smugly. Check.
He glanced up at the taller boy beside him as he wasn’t too sure where they were going. Something about potions and being quiet. Thomas wasn’t sure but the chance to spend some time with Barty seemed exciting.
Stay quiet. Wait on his command until it was clear. Check.
It was nearing dusk and the corridors were clearing out as students headed back to their dorms after the evening meal and the end of classes. He knew they shouldn’t really be out and should be returning to their rooms too.
“Barty...” he whispered looking up at him. “What are we doing?”

Slytherin Common Room: 1974 (Barty&Thomas)
Sunday evenings were his favourite. They’d finish dinner and usually the common room was quiet. He’d sit in the corner of the common room on the big cushy leather chairs with a book almost bigger than himself and get lost in a magical world for a few hours. The irony of studying in a world of magic but wanting to escape into another.
Walking through the corridors from his dorm leading to the common room he paused hearing bangs and pops. Something he could only describe as firecrackers or fireworks he associated with the muggle bonfire night.
Peering around the corner as he saw a bunch of students huddled around the fire on the sofas, clearly interested in something one of the older boys was doing. He’d seen him around before but only on the stairs or through the doorway. He’d often moved to let him pass whenever they met. Avoiding trouble by showing respect to his superiors wasn’t entirely a bad thing.
Watching them for a moment as truthfully it had been a while since he’d joked around and laughed with friends. First year had been tough, he hadn’t formed any friendships and he’d grown bitter towards people, not that he’d told his parents any of that. They thought he was fitting in fine. The summer break had been somewhat of a relief when he got to see his muggle friends again. There were always questions but he said he’d been sent to a boarding school in Scotland. He missed those days climbing trees or learning magic tricks.
He jumped when he realised he’d made eye contact with one of the group. He’d been spotted and it didn’t look very good with him hiding like a spy. He didn’t have the best reputation in the Slytherin house. He was often a target to other students, mainly purebloods. Fearing the worst his immediate reaction was to panic and run up the stairs back towards his dorm.

Ok so someone requested a character on my side gimmick blog and they mentioned how a lot of people disliked the character, and I was like "oh it can't be THAT bad"
Looked up said character, second result is a reddit post bashing on them
i do not have any comments for this <3
this was a study from another artist I think ? but I do not remember who </3
