Oh I almost forgot to share some good news. The contract at my job got extended till the end of March.

The original contract was until the 1st week of October, which got extended until December 31st and now it's extended to March 31st.

I'm over the fucking moon. I genuinely love my job. Some days are harder than others but all jobs are like that.

Anyhow...that's my good news.

My colleague D returned to work today. Not sure what that means in terms of working at the office. We are both working from home two days a week so will only see each other once a week. Actually glad the agency worker is gone. The handover she sent me was shit and the work she said she had done, she hadn't.

So I hadn't heard from D in 1.5 months. I just figured he was busy or didn't want to talk but he said he has called the office a few times asking for me but the agency worker always picked up. It must have been on the days I was working from home as I always answer the phone when I'm at the office. He told her it was a personal call and she wouldn't give my work mobile out or take a message. Wtf!! I even told her so many times thst she should give my number out. Useless. I don't think D likes her. He said she was quite rude lol. She seemed highly capable so I actually think she did it maliciously. Like she never took messages for me. Wonder if I'll ever see her again.

I have actually missed D but didn't say that haha. I told him I'll see you next Monday and he pretended to cry lol. I wish the circumstances were different but this is where it's at. At least we are secure in our jobs for now.

So I had a telephone meeting with the regional manager booked to discuss a complaint and after feeling anxious about it all, it was for nothing. The RM spoke to my manager and the agency worker and gathered enough information that he didn't need to speak to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have decided to return to work tomorrow.

I have been thinking about it all day and if I'm ready to go back. I took 2 days off work after I was robbed last week. I was going to take a few more days off but I don't think it will help. I am strong and resilient. I will get through this. I think the hardest part will be getting out of my car and doing that 5 minute walk to work. I will probably park on a different street. It won't make any difference in terms of safety but I'm not ready to see the same road where it happened. 

The agency worker is going to be talking too much as usual but I don't know if I want to tell her what happened. I need to tell her I'm not in a chatty mood but she doesn't need to know why. My manager knows. If my colleague D was there I would tell him. I hate that it happened so close to work.

Absolutely shattered.

Woke up at 6am to workout and got to work 9.30am (I start 9am, oops).

The agency worker was just too much today. She didn't stop talking the WHOLE fucking day. Even the workmen said she talks too much haha. I do like talking but then it gets too much and I just want quiet. I couldn't even eat my lunch in the kitchen to get away from her as it smelled of smoke. THANK FUCK I am working from home tomorrow. 🙃 I could not work with her 5 days a week. She would drive me mad. 3 days is already too much lol.
