I realized that my drawings of him look inconsistent but they're really not... there's a timeline discrepancy. He looks different in certain images because his age differs. As he grows older, he has a few physical changes.

and then I realized he's basically making the same face in these two images so I compared them.

Seven years pass but he's still the same ... and he's still bitching.

this... was supposed to be a warm up, whoops. For as long as I've been writing this character, people who encounter him are always a little intimidated by his appearance at first. My style is more on the cartoony side so I usually don't draw him with the scars on his face, but they're actually a very important part of his design and character development.
