Felt like giving the rest of OSMU the Opal treatment, so here's more ponies!!

Omar is a pegasus like his partner, Oswald is a unicorn, and Orla is an earth pony.

And because I love symbolism stuff, here is extra blabbing about the cutie marks:

Omar got his mark after discovering his love of souvenirs, probably sometime in the Arctic.

I was originally going to make it a shelf or a case , but I figured it should represent his optimism more. Souvenirs are his quirk, but "look on the bright side" is his main thing. Hence, a sun because he looks on the bright side.

The spiral represents eternality because he likes to preserve things, like you know... friendship... memories... souvenirs... get it yet

I was originally going to give the whole mobile unit a circle somewhere in their mark, but with Orla and Oswald it got too difficult, so I stuck to just Opal and Omar. He'd definitely point it out to her (her cm is a steering wheel jic you didn't know)

Moving to Oswald! It would be a crime if I didn't put a book in there, so I did. Since he's a unicorn and I imagine he's great with magic, I gave the pages a little ✨️ sparkle ✨️

He got it after getting his museum curator job- he was content with it at first, but then got bored of sitting behind a desk. Probably had a sort of cutie mark crisis during the S3 premiere, thinking his whole life should be decidicated to museum/library related stuff because that's his cutie mark, right?

Thrill of the Face would see him admit these worries to Orla

Eventually figured out he was good at spellcasting and teaching others as well as just liking books - his cm has multiple meanings :)

And now to Orla. I had no clue what to do for her cutie mark since she would have gotten it long before anyone else, so I have her a Rockhoof situation. Sorry Orla, you're going through an existential crisis today :p

She got her cutie mark at the end of the challenge in The Weight of the World Depends on Orla, proving that her destiny is protecting the 44-leaf clover. And now that it isn't... what does she do now?

She joined the mobile unit mostly to answer that question, she had literally nothing else to do

She eventually decided her cutie mark is for protecting others, which factored into her becoming the new OSMU leader in season 3B

Speaking of, I might do Osmeralda or Orpita if I can make designs I like for them

And finally, I was able to give OSMU a little symbol of unity- everyone has four of something on their cutie mark! Opal has four yellow streaks, four (orange) rays, four blue stars, and four green leaves <3
