Tell me what their relationships are with each other and what their roles are in whatever larger group they're in

Adding another little picture I did for them so you know what they look like out of armor- Dee has the mole and green streaks while Penn has the rose color on her tips.

These two are a prime example of relationships built under shared trauma. Neither of them really had families to go back to on any colonies or on Earth so they bonded more and became each other's family instead. There are ongoing debates on if they two are actually related or not (they joke they might be but they aren't as far as we know). As a joke we've discussed that Tucker might try to get them DNA tests but something always goes wrong (like the tests being for ancestry instead of DNA and the like). Penn considers Dee her brother in all aspects. She shares everything with him- information/snacks/you name it. The same is said about Dee in regards to Penn. They love each other very much. They would and probably have killed for each other before.

In PFL they're fairly low ranked (the highest they reached was in the 30s which is enough to go on missions but not super enough for the leaderboard) so they never played any major roles in the Project. Dee's primary special skills involved infiltration and information retrieval while Penn was onboard as an demolition expert. Neither we very good at hand to hand but fairly skilled with their own specialties. Penn in particular liked to experiment with explosives as a way to do other things (like adding hallucinogenic gasses/fire crackers) as so of a gag bomb. Think Green Arrow and his quiver of many tricks except these go boom and don't always go off the way she wants them to. (Please ask @phantomraekens more about Dee because he is their baby and Penn is mine)

Post Freelancer they spent a good amount of time wandering around the galaxy working as bounty hunters while trying to work through the trauma PFL gave them.

Dee's highest rank in Freelancer was 34.

Penn's highest rank was either 36 or 37. (Totally not.... because of a smoke bomb she accidentally set off in the mess hall. Nope.)

3 hours on the phone and Puff and I churned out 4k words of our oc fanfic that nobody but us has ever seen.

Okay. Ill bite. Whats the Dee and Penn MoI prank war.

The shenanigans start by complete accident.

Nothing was intentional for a war. Pranking YORK was intentional but one of them fucked up throwing the shaving cream pie and it hit South instead, who thought York threw it and everything after that.... She vowed revenge. Pranks ensued. People got caught in the crossfire and pulled in, which happens in a lot of wars if you think about it, and by the end there were a lot of Freelancers involved.

Wash ended up trying to throw something at York and in a poetic yet horrible turn of events it hit the Director instead. Which resulted in the end of said prank war.

No one knows to this day it was instigated by Dee or Penn.

do your ocs survive the project?

We discussed this several times.

There's the one where Temple does get to them and they're in his weird Freelancer trophy room.

The other is they spent all the time after escaping the project doing bounty hunter work. This is the one we typically roll with because you know... no one wants to kill off their OCs (torture yes but kill? Nah.)

It's very much a decision between are we fucking canon over or keeping it to canon but Vee and I typically just say fuck canon and have them survive and go exploring on silly adventures until they eventually go to Chorus to hunt down the Reds and Blues because they think they killed Wash.

Penn:

Allergic to jalapeno

The armor color is rose gold but after the fall of the project she adds purple accents to it. Her hair is dyed the same color to match.

Has several piercings but cried each time she got them in an attempt to get over her fear of needles. The last two she doesn’t remember getting because she got drunk and woke up with her cartilage in her left ear double pierced for some reason. 

Her singular tattoo is a small butterfly. Location TBA

Her hobbies are baking, photography and handcrafts like bracelet making.

Her love languages are physical touch and gift giving.

When I say she excels at gift giving I mean she scrutinizes you with an eye you didn't even know was watching you until you're presented with something you didn't know you needed and/or something so sentimental it leaves you in tears.

An ugly crier.

Do not play hide and seek with her she will hide in the ceiling.

Her birthday is in late May so she's a Gemini! Dee's birthday is a few days before hers so they end up celebrating together every year.

Dee is her favorite person ever. That's her brother in every sense of the word. The relationship is a little weird from the outside looking in but once you get to know them you just realize they fit each other's weird kind of perfectly.

Reads smut novels shamelessly and takes notes for things she wants to try next time she gets in bed with someone.

Would penn have a fursona and if yes, what would it be

Penn isn't a furry. She's adventurous but not enough to fuck someone in an entire fursuit. Now cute little outfits? Maybe. So I don't see her having a fursona.

BUT IF SHE DID- she'd probably be a fox. She's good at being deceitful and playing tricks/distractions. I think if there was any animal that suits her best if she did have one a fox would most likely be it.
