aphobe block list discourse? i feel like i know what this is about bc i could be following the user who made it but i havent seen any posts that aren't, like, only tangentially related to the issue, so i have no idea what its about

I’ve only heard some stuff from a couple blogs I follow as well as people flooding ace tags with jokes on the matter.

With that, I can’t really say much, but this ordeal really seems to be further promoting the whole “aphobia is just a big old joke” mentality.

when did you originally get the idea for East of the Moon? was it inspired by something?

it was a combo sort of general inspiration and a desire for the Perfect Media.

I love exploration, and small package stories you find by discovery. anything by Nifflas will hit all of my buttons. Cave Story, Minecraft, pretty much any roguelike, Sword&Sworcery, Bastion, Firewatch.... That kind of thing! I want/ed to make something like that, but with a little bit of modular freedom for the player’s playstyle.

The name came because i love myths, and East of the Sun and West of the Moon is a fairytale about seeking something, with a touch of ‘traveling past the ends of the earth’ to get it.

and now here i am in development heck, making all these cute characters!!
