This year can kiss my ass.

Last year can suck it too.

So I’m back on the East Coast after that disaster that was Denver. Still no job, and fucking NOBODY will even so much as talk to me. My storage unit in Raleigh is going to go up for auction next week because I don’t have the money to keep it, my car is going to be repossessed because I don’t have the money to make even one payment, and...yeah.

The following good things have happened:

agentblue and fanofblue, who were there for me when Mike died and who have been begging me to come stay with them since a month after I got to Denver and realized that I’d made a huge mistake going there, finally got me to come live with them. So I have a stable place to live. It cost me a longtime friendship, but...eh. There’s a lot to that old friendship that would take too long to explain--suffice to say that I’m OK with that friendship being officially over.

I have the cats with me, and they’re quite happy. I had to leave Denver without Castiel, who was still staying with friends in Boulder. With the help of another friend who had a shitload of Delta miles, agentblue flew to Denver as part of Operation Cowlift. So I have all three boys with me, and Cas is acting like nothing happened.

And hopefully Medicaid by the end of the week--though without the car and me being barely able to walk at the best of times, I don’t know how I’ll be able to navigate public transportation to get to doctor appointments. :/

I’m trying to write again, but without my medication it’s very hard to focus on even basic tasks like feeding the cats or self-care, much less writing. 

So, I’m alive. I’m rock-bottom, but I’m alive.
