Phil had learned from May that Jemma had made her way to Haven, but what had bothered him was in fact how long she had been there without his knowledge.
According to May, she had been held up in the labs, which for Jemma, made sense. But there had been talk that she had been damn near killing herself trying to figure out a cure. May asked Coulson to intervene, knowing if there had been anyone who could get her to come out, it’d be him.
