‘ that officer from the third precinct that stopped by earlier was rather cute, do you think? ’

BECAUSE I’M SHIT WITH MY ACTIVITY.........
...I’m gonna start putting myself on a schedule. With four active RP blogs and something resembling a life still struggling to take shape, I know I’ve been more than neglectful, so I’m hoping that this will straighten me out.
My four blogs are here at dandxkar, my SHIELD baby Amara at agentkota, the bane of Will Gorski’s existence mulderwannabespartner and the actual bane of Will Gorski’s existence (and a lot of other sensates, I’m assuming) sxsurrus.
My schedule from now on will be as follows:
Monday: sxsurrus and agentkota Tuesday: dandxkar and mulderwannabespartner Wednesday: agentkota and dandxkar Thursday: all four Friday: sxsurrus and mulderwannabespartner
I’ll be trying to give myself the weekends off, but if I roleplay on weekends, it’ll be a toss up between whichever muse I’m feeling the most or whichever one is convenient at any given time.
No matter what blog I’m on, feel free to hit me up! If you want to leave a message in my inbox, I’ll check for messages at each blog on the days I’ve listed. Since dandxkar is my main blog, it’s also the one I’m logged into on mobile, so sending me a message there is the quickest way to reach me through tumblr. If we’re better friends than that and you really want to torture me with headcanons or AUs, my skype and/or kik are available on request to people who have talked to me ooc at least a couple of times. (Through tags counts.)
Hopefully, this will get me off my ass and on a better reply rate. Thanks for sticking around lovelies, and happy RPing!

❝I’ll appreciate the compliment ------ even if I didn’t know that there was a national standard on Germans being good dancers, and don’t you prefer having a plan b?❞

“So what you’re telling me is that you lost the entire arms shipment.” Really, he’s not mad, he’s just... disappointed.
Harry really hadn't expected to bump into any other spy, never mind one from an organisation he couldn't recognise, based on the woman's logo anyways. He preached the Kingsman extreme digression, and yet here he was, face to face with someone else on the same mission. "You better explain who you are and what you're doing here." agentkota
Yeah. I've always loved Athena regardless, but she's felt a lot more like a "one of the guys" kind of figure to me from the myths. She wasn't actually born of woman, she didn't have to develop from childhood, she was intensely logical and prideful (well, all the gods were, p much) and in general, she never seemed like one of the more feminist goddesses of the Greek pantheon. That seemed to fall squarely to Artemis, Demeter, Hestia, etc. but Athena... idk man i need to brush up on my mythos
i think it depends on how you want to read her, as with all of the pantheon.
i actually choose to read her as a feminist icon simply BECAUSE there are so many other representations of women/females. you brought up demeter, the traditional mother role. artemis is like the teenage daughter, ect ect. there's a lot of female representation so i think it's fair to see athena as part of that feminist interpretation because she's simply another facet to what a woman can be, which is anything. she's not the only female figure, so she's not speaking for all women, as it were.
idk if that makes sense, but XD
Wikipedia says that the "Athena protecting Medusa" myth comes from Ovid?
i think you're right. i remember hearing a news story on... npr, maybe? i was listening to the radio, and i think it said one of the original versions of the myth had athena protecting her, rather than punishing her.
athena in the myths is the mess of feminine power (wisdom/logic, just war fare, ect) and then also these really archaic themes of virginity means purity and some of her birth origins removing the fact that she even had a mother
so it's like ??? ancient greeks what were you doing
