At five, Natasha dressed in a white off the shoulder sweater dress, black leggings and her usual black heeled ankle boots waited in the lobby for Maria. She had decided they’d go to Barbaresco, it had a nice selection of pastas and was a comfortable easy atmosphere, not to fancy. She had previously texted her friend earlier in the day about what time to meet her.

Pepper sits at the bar with her forehead to it when the bartender slips the martini into her hand and walks away. "Get here fast Maria or I'll have permanent brain damage." She says to herself.

It had been a few days since their coffee meet up and Natasha had taken on a small mission and ran into a new face. The spy wandered down the hallway and came up to the door of Maria’s address and knocked on the door. In hand she had a bag with ice cream, a pint for each of them chocolate for her and Maria’s favorite.

It had been a while since Natasha had seen her former trainee, and she was looking forward to it. She liked Maria, the girl had become a friend to her and as the Widow had very few female friends the ones she did have she held them with high regard. She waited at the coffee shop she frequented near Stark Tower, sipping some herbal tea for a change instead of her usual black coffee; it was odd but not overly uncommon especially lately. Along with the tea, she had a homemade chocolate chip cookie she was picking at while she waited patiently as ever.
