a kiss on the back of the hand.

The taxi’s honking at the curb. She’d hoof it without COMPLAINT, but even under all the cheesy jokes and the number of bottles the two of them managed to empty, Sam was still a gentleman. And when he called the car for her, she couldn’t help but smile and ALLOW it.

Then comes the kiss to the back of her hand - another in a string of refreshing niceties. Others may have shied from it, or thought it antiquated, but Haven watches him, ever so CAREFUL in his gesture. The flush of her cheeks, once generated by the alcohol and eased by the cool night air outside, returns again for new reasons.

“Sam--” she starts, then pauses, taking a millisecond to mull it over, and shrugs any second thoughts away before just pulling his face CLOSE and pressing an equally gentle kiss to his lips.

“Sam, I had a LOT of fun tonight. Thank you.”

who’s lizzo kfdjglkjh my music tastes are so obscure and all over the place tbh, half the time my car radio is actually on the 1940’s station like…….

oh BLESS like i s2g i was in a bachelorette party and all my friends were singing along and dancing to lizzo and i didn’t know any of the words or anything then the minute we stepped into the “”””””””throwback bar”””””””” and it was stuff i normally listen to they just stood in the corner :(

𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄  𝐀  𝐂𝐀𝐓  𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐒  𝐈𝐓’𝐒  𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐘  ,  she’d  been  watching  him  ,  his  routine  down  to  the  second  ---  from  work  ,  home  ,  dates  ,  his  favorite  lunch  spot  .  for  homeland  security  there  was  a  terrible  ignorance  on  the  SECURITY  front  .  it’s  with  a    ghost  like  elegance  that  she  lingers  upon  the  ledge  of  the  homeland  building  ,  scaling  the  windows  with  precision  until  she  finds  his  desk  .  in  present  ,  it’s  simple  enough  to  make  her  way  inside  ,  countless  id  cards  made  in  advance  she  returns  to  the  air  ventilation  unit  ,  makes  her  way  inside  and  finds  herself  clad  in  a  business  suit  and  a  coy  smile  ,  seated  at  his  desk  until  he  returns  .  ❛    you  didn’t  happen  to  grab  me  a  coffee  too  ,  did  you  ?   ❜ @agentstein​  --  starter call !
