After watching Wonder Woman...I had to.

I MET LUKE MITCHELL OVER THE WEEKEND! And he was so amazing to talk to, I literally sat with him for 15 minutes talking mostly about Roman and Blindspot, as well as The Tomorrow People and Agents of SHIELD. Anyways, for anyone that watches Blindspot as well, here’s a few things he said:

YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE THE SEASON FINALE. He did, and said that there’s a little something happening for every main character.

He’s not in scenes with Ronda Rousey’s character in 2x20, but was totally on board with her as an actor, and was super excited about having her on the show.

He didn’t actually want to audition for Roman! He took one look at the script and declined it, mostly because he was on holidays and the script just didn’t sit right with him. But after his holiday, his manager gave it to him again, and he reluctantly made a video audition... And got the role!

It was amazing, bc he was SO SURE he wasn’t going to get the role and completely unmotivated that he did the video audition all grubby and with the beard - the casting team liked the beard, and so told him to keep it!

God, I also just love how he’s Aussie, just like me. We talked about how he sometimes finds it hard to keep an American accent, but it’s great that he works alongside Sully.

EDIT: Also, his favourite pranks on set are the sneaky photos with Jaimie.

EDIT #2: We talked about guest stars on the show and we both thought Roman and Rich would have great interactions!

okay okay but just imagine Tasha from behind the chair Patterson’s sitting in, leaning in to set Patterson’s breakfast in front of her, and kissing her cheek because why not ;)

BECAUSE!!! that last scene is the perfect opportunity to make pattata canon!
