After watching Wonder Woman...I had to.
I JUST STARTED IT AND COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHY I DIDNT LIKE IT THAT MUCH -VINDICATION!! okay to make up for the meh, uprooted (a book ive read and loved)

I definitely liked the idea behind this and while I think Novik could have executed some plot lines better, it has a very magical and colourful world-building, and is an overall charming and thoughtful read!

I say it’s okay but I actually DNF’d the first book of the series 1/3 in, so I can’t speak for the whole series. for some reason it just didn’t hold my attention nor appealed to me at the time. i might give it a second go? not sure
