🌪️ the wind screamed and howled . . .

𝓨ou and Tate woke late in the morning, with the sounds of a storm raging against the glass window panes. Your bedroom was dimly lit, except for the occasional flash of lightning followed by rolling thunder. Tate had his arm slung lazily over you as your figure curled into him.

𝓑reakfast is had in bed, with your fluffy blankets and pillows creating the perfect nest. The pair of you pick out a show to binge watch and cozy in, undisturbed by the other ghosts of the house.

𝓐fternoon brings nap time and cuddles with it. The storm outside hasn’t let up one bit and it soothes you both into slumber. If you stir or wake at all, Tate gently pulls you closer into him . . keeping you safe.

𝓟laytime is in the evening. The two of you build a pillow fort to hide out in, bringing all your toys and activities inside. Tate has an active imagination, and keeps up with all your whims and games.

𝓝ightime arrives and the storm outside continues to rage on. Tate doesn’t insist on bedtime . . instead he suggests staying up late and watching the cartoons of your choice. He brings snacks, drinks, and any comfort items you want. As long as you are cozy and close to him, he’s happy.
