How did the factory farm drone project come to be?

At a sneak-preview screening of Speciesism: The Movie in early 2012, Georgetown Law student Jon Mirsky suggested that the director, Mark Devries, use drones in a future project.  Devries began filming with drones later that year.  However, the drone footage in the present video – which provides a small sample of what has been filmed overall – was taken in just a few days.

Ag-gag laws keep getting proposed by special interest groups, and hopefully will continue to be shot down by lawmakers, but we all need to keep a diligent eye on whatever they're trying to pass through next.
