Each year in the US, 10 billion land animals are raised to be fed to 300 million people. What's the argument for this being a wise use of resources?
The ten billion land animals killed for food in the US each year consume two-thirds of the nation's grain, half of the nation's water, one-third of the nation's landmass, and one-third of the nation's fossil fuel. Clearly, if someone cares about the future, they need to go vegan!
