🙄 I think some people are way too uneducated to understand that mental health isn't just for humans. That animals also acquire traumas in the course of their lives which causes them to act and react far from the desirable behavior. The only difference is that, we, as humans, can reason out of it and has more options for coping mechanisms and other things to help us get better while animals don't.
If you only love your pet when they're showing what you deem as desirable behavior, then you don't really love them at all. IF YOU DON'T LOVE THEM AT THEIR WORST, THEN YOU DON'T DESERVE THEM AT ALL.
