Sonic did not know what to make of this encounter, to just pat his head out of nowhere like that. Still, it at least allowed Sonic to know that he was not within hostile territory so the moment she was done he took the appropriate step back and crossed both his arms over his chest. “What’d you expect, the wind keeps my fur healthy.” Tch, when did he discuss beauty tips with a stranger…or beauty tips at all for that matter. “Forget I said anything, Sonic’s the name and speed’s my game.”

He looks down at Retsuko as his ears perk up at her question. It’s been a while since it was just them together. He’s hoping Haida doesn’t try to fight him again. But he has missed her, he’s glad they are still friends after all of this time. And everything they’ve been through.
