     “ hah, well. that’s something i’ve been telling myself for years. ”    letting out a soft breath of a sigh, judy turned her body in order to glance up at the wolf who had spoken to her. her expression didn’t change, simply smiling up at him, moving her paws to rest them upon her hips.   “ animals have been underestimating me ever since i was old enough to decide what i wanted in life, and it’s never stopped me before! ”   it was true enough, judy refused to let anyone put her down, to let anyone tell her how to live her life. she lived to defy expectations and to do what felt right in her heart, no matter what. 

   “ still, thank you. it’s nice to see someone else who doesn’t think i should just bend over to what the masses think of me. ”   moving one paw from her hip, she stuck it up towards him, her smile broadening slightly.      “ judy hopps. good to meetcha! ”

Still do. ” ‘ Hah, good one. ’ He likes to humor himself even in conversation. At least that means this small talk wasn’t dull. Wolf was lively when he was invested and this uh.., Judy? was something else.

He’ll admit despite what he said he really did take her for something well...bunny-ish? Docile or skittish ;; but here she was unflinchingly offering her paw at a figure maybe three times her height and in more then one way a predator. That takes guts. She’s not scared of him ..yet.

 There’s still time for that.

“ Wolf. Mr. Wolf. Likewise, Miss Hopps. ” And he offers his paw back, letting his thumb and forefinger take hers in a shake. “ I mean it when I say don’t let people or animals get in the way. No, no. Sometimes ya gotta take what you want. Ya know, get ‘em where you want ‘em! They never see it coming and definetly don’t expect it from a wolf. Somethin’ about big teeth and yellow eyes makes ‘em think you’re stupid or somethin’. Hah! Right. ” 

He was charming, cunning, and did it very very well.

Avert expectations? No. Better. Be the absolute BEST of the WORST.

➤   ┊   " UHUH -- yeah, sure bud. ” You can’t out con THE con-artist. He’ll have him know he stole that Rolex first before pawning it off just a few days earlier. Funny how things get around just four blocks down and then a few spaces to the left from now, but that’s the streets for you. It wasn’t even genuine and he should just take the walk and be on his way.

But there’s something delightfully fun about bantering with fellow fraudsters. Let’s see if he makes the cut above amateur.

okay Im gonna throw a starter call soon, but as a reminder from my rules you don’t have to have an anthro/animal/whatever verse to interact with me if you’re a human character and what not. If anything there’s more humans then animals in the movie verse anyways LMAO
