Aggstein Castle: Wachau, Austria.
Austria’s most romantic road - The path that separates Salzburg from Vienna looks like the setting for a fairy tale. So much so, not even the cool air from the Austrian mountains will bring you back to earth.
1) Aggstein Castle, in the Wachau Valley, was built in the 12th century. Its strategic position was perfect for watching over the boats sailing up and down the Danube.
2) There are numerous tourist attractions in Hallstatt, such as the Waldbachstrub waterfall, the Hallstätter Beinhaus (Bone House) and the oldest salt mine in the world.
