The way Beard and Ted are family. The way Ted and Michelle cared for him, even through everything. The way Ted's mom is like his mom. The way he's Uncle Beard. The way he would do anything for Ted, even forgive. The way all he had back then was Ted and he still has Ted now. The way he's so comfortable in Ted's home. The way he passes on and honors Ted's gift of kindness by caring for Nate. The way he cares so deeply about Henry. The way he will do anything for Ted but be kind to himself. The way that Ted is kind to him.
