Tumblr assumption: More like a guess. Were you ever in the IB programme? Or lived abroad for a period of time? (Some of your spelling follows British English but not all of it, I don't think, so I'm a bit curious as to where that's from.)

witless. firstly thank you for being the only person to respond to this meme [ even though you’re not a rp blog lmao ]. it’s kind of a weird story. i use the british spelling because my mother was actually from the uk [ leeds, to be precise ] and until i was like in second grade i was home schooled for various reasons. so she taught me how to read/write, and i’ve retained the european spelling because that’s how i was taught first. my teachers have hated it for forever. but — yeah. i actually spell everything the british way; the only occasions in which i don’t are the ones in which it’s a word i learned far later in life [ when my mom wasn’t around to teach me the spelling/help me with spelling ] or when my computer autocorrects things since it hates me & my british spelling.

if that makes sense idk.
