Agnes Tachyon, foaled in Japan in April 1998.
He was sired by Sunday Silence, out of Agnes Flora. Agnes Flora also produced the 2000 Tokyo Yushun winner Agnes Flight.
Agnes Tachyon won four races, in as many starts. In 2000, at age two, he won the Radio Tampa Hai Sansai Stakes, and the following year he won the Satsuki Sho, and the Yayoi Sho.
A bowed tendon ended his racing career, but he became a successful sire in Japan - and 2008 Leading sire, - as he sired 2006 (Japan) NHK Mile Cup winner Logic, 2007 Shuka Sho, Japan Queen Elizabeth II Commenmorative Cup, Oka Sho and 2008 Arima Kinen winner Daiwa Scarlet, 2008 Satsuki Sho winner Captain Thule, 2008 Tokio Yushun and (Japan) NHK Mile Cup winner Deep Sky, and 2008 Japan Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup winner Little Amapola.
He sadly died due to heart failure in June 2009.
