agnes's scoff to conrad keeping the postcard in his wallet is so funny to me bc to her, conrad is not that kind of guy who's all soft and romantic, he's a snarky and sarcastic nerd, a completely different person in her POV, but she notices how mushy this belly girl makes him, turning him into a sentimental romantic dude XD

can I just say their friendship was so well written, bc conrad's "you suck" after agnes's deadpan expression is so similar to S3 EP1 when he was like "that's so messed up" when agnes slowly tells him he got into dr namazy's intership lol

Agnes saying she knows how it feels to be in unrequited love with someone who will never feel the same way but babygirl. The entire point is that she did feel the same way, they would have been together if Conrad had it in him to fight, but he didn't. That's what he has to live with, the things he couldn't do, the love HE lost. There was nothing Agnes could have done or been that would change the fact that Conrad didn't want a relationship, it wasn't about her. Conrad and Belly not being able to work it out was about Conrad being absolutely destroyed by the loss of his mother. It's an irrational thought, because imo them breaking up and him letting go were the right choices for Belly and Conrad at the time. But it's not something he can try and change, because she's with his brother, she's happy without him. You can heal, you can move and have a new and good life, but sometimes healing will still be looking back at the mess you've made along the way and feeling the grief and regret over that. That's life.
