inebriation surrounded him, but he did not recoil. although strangers were heavy handed, and the fumes of spirits were powerful enough to singe, no complaints will slip past his lips. the coffers were brimming, and he felt like a dragon, sat atop a fortune.
the thought brought a ghost of a smile to his mouth, a barely discernible lilt, that eased the perpetual heaviness inside his chest, if only for a moment.

“what’s all the commotion?” daniel’s features were marred with the stress of the evening - from issues with suppliers, vacant staff, and organisers demanding his attention, he did not need a blockade at the doors.
the bouncer gestured to the woman, and her evident lack of costume. it took a moment for his eyes to adjust, and then he rolled them. daniel stepped forward to unlatch the red, velveteen rope that barred her entrance. “come inside, lal,” the look that he directed to the behemoth was pointed. his gaze returned to her, deep with apology. “i’m so sorry about this.”
with the summer air whispering through the streets, the loud thumping music bouncing off the walls, we invite you to attend islesbury council’s charity event !
sponsored by the mayor’s office, the event brings the town together with a grand gala in order to raise money and awareness for charity. beginning in 2010, the charity event has only gotten bigger and better with each year passing by. with this year’s event coming up, the theme is defined loosely as a costume party with one single rule: don’t dress as yourself.
with every cent of the profits raised being donated by midnight, locals and local businesses deserve a big thank you for making the event a possibility and reality ! artistic impressions creating such gorgeous decorations , all the mouth -watering tastes made by no one other than our local baker theodore luppen, and of course , daniel eun and deja vu nightclub being the host and venue for the night .
the unexpected is bound to happen. and like always, radio agnes’ trusty voice, cass, will be there to report it all so don’t forget to send an anonymous tip or two ! the night is sure to be one to remember , please enjoy and remember to get involved with the theme ! who knows , the best dressed might win a prize by midnight . we hope you all enjoy the islesbury council’s charity event !

the event will start at 1 pm EST on the 23rd of june ( wednesday ) and will run for a week until the 30th of june, concluding at midnight to allow enough time for everyone to participate.
