my mom is the biggest Enid/Agnes shipper ever everyone should support her by writing more fanfics and drawing more fanart
Alright, time for some final remarks on Wednesday S2. :) Overall, I really enjoyed it, despite some criticisms that didn't completely go away in the second half of the season.
The structure of this season still remains a little puzzling to me, but I sort of understand it better now. It's almost like a mix between standalone episodes and an overarching plot. Episodes 5-8 were all self-contained in regards to identifying a single threat/villain and then conquering it by the end of the episode. The vague threat posed by the Galpins runs through the whole second part of the show until they themselves become the threat to eliminate in the finale.
Is this structure good and does it work? I guess! Personally, I would have preferred a scarier antagonist and a bigger focus on them. I don't really think we needed all these side-villains and distractions. But that's kind of the issue of this whole season - bloat.
The cast is simply too large. Bruno (I still want to call him Kristoff) is the prime example of that. I kept waiting for a twist regarding this guy, and when it came, it was just a super disappointing 'oh he already has a gf, the jerk!' As a writer, you constantly have to look at the characters and ask yourself 'does the story lose anything if I remove this character?' The story definitely doesn't lose anything if Bruno was removed, and the same goes for quite a lot of characters, actually.
The only new character who brought something to the story was Agnes. I thought she was mildly annoying in the first half, but she truly shone in the second part of the season. I hope she becomes a true mainstay in S3 when it comes out in Year 2031.
Another criticism I had throughout the season is... why is this show even set at a school?! Not once did we see the kids in a classroom setting or doing something coursework related. They barely even referenced their studies! Sure, school is boring, but... at least acknowledge your own setting, why don't you.
Something I have heard from the fandom is 'oh, the only reason we are not getting wenclair is that the show is run by crusty old probably conservative men'. Pfffft. Please. You're completely wrong. They absolutely know what they're doing with the gay. Also, how are we 'not getting wenclair'. Enid literally gave away her humanity, maybe even her life to rescue Wednesday. And Wednesday is going on the quest to save the one true love of her life. It's as gay as it can get.
Also, they could have allowed Enid have that gala dance with Bruno, but they kicked that waste of space out and instead gave us the Enid/Agnes dance that was maybe the gayest thing I've seen this year? The whole Agnid tag is blowing up right now. So yeah, the creators are absolutely embracing the gay, it's ridiculous to think otherwise.
Right, that's all I have for now. Am I excited for S3? Sure, reasonably excited. I do hope they try something different with it. Like, Wednesday and Uncle Fester road trip to save Enid, with Agnes obviously tagging along. I don't actually want to go back to Nevermore. Oh, and I don't want to see Tyler ever again. Fucker looks like if someone had cast Enlarge spell on Gollum.
Wednesday Season Two maybe spoilers below cut? It’s vague and it doesn’t tell you anything about the plot, but it might spoil some shipping stuff.
God damn it, now I kind want Enid and Agnes to end up together. Also yeah, I never doubted Weyler for a minute.

Just love how predatory this interviewer's question is, making the LGBT fanbase sound fucking depraved
Holy fuck
I like and I love that Enid & Agnes' LGBT ship… looks so much like Draco & Ginny from the Harry Potter movies and the… Wednesday Addams show🎄💫
Although I am aware that Draco and Ginny are not a couple in the Harry Potter movies... unfortunately despite that they are one of my favorite ships and... I would have liked and loved that the 2 of them had stayed together although I am also a fan of the Harry & Ginny ship🌷🌹
In addition, although I am also aware that Enid and Agnes are not a couple on the Wednesday Addams program... I would also have liked and delighted to see that the 2 of them had become a couple and I also like and I love that the two of them... became friends and their dance scene is one of my favorite scenes from the Wednesday Addams program🪷🪻
The ships of them 4 are my favorites of their movies and program... I also like and I love the idea that Enid and Agnes are relatives of Draco and Ginny and I also like and I love to imagine that the two of them are related to the elements of Ice and Fire even if that seems... weird but I love it and I like to imagine the idea that in the new Harry Potter series we see Draco and Ginny being a couple and in the next season of the Wednesday Addams program we also see Enid and Agnes being an LGBT couple🤩🍀
