The stones get crushed in a fine calcium carbonate powder and mixed with recycled non toxic high density polyethene to create small white pellets that are squeezed into a material that resembles traditional paper, all in a 100% dry process that applies zero acids, bleach or water. The final result is a ecofriendly, sustainable and all natural notebook, filled with durable and tear resistant soy ink printed and grainless paper, that can withstand water, grease and dirt. The paper is feeling strong, but yet soft and smooth and my pen is really effortly gliding over the paper while writing.
