Katya fits into all of it seamlessly, and in this moment Trixie feels like she does too, in a way she can’t remember ever feeling before. It feels like coming home. It feels like finding faith.

"Okay," Trixie simply states at Katya's insistent tone. After a moment of silence, she quietly adds, "Thank you." She lies back and stretches out her legs. They’re almost touching Katya’s. "Tell me what you like about it."

“So far you’ve read two books and you didn’t like either of them. Are you sure reading is for you?” They’ve known each other for three days and Trixie has learned that she has nothing to fear from Katya, and that it’s so much fun to tease her.

“I like reading, I just need you to not bring me garbage.”

could you please do another mermaid trixya fic?? like a different au but trixie is the mermaid and she’s like human with hair and tits at the top and a pink tail? and maybe she gets legs when she’s dry? i loved your mermaid fic so much and it’s to only mermaid trixya i can find! it’s so unique and creative and made my heart so happy so thank you so much & i can’t wait to see if you decide to take on this prompt! ❤️

Hi, I’m so glad you enjoyed my fic so much! however, I’m gonna have to say no. the appeal for me was that Katya is unconventional, even by mermaid standards, and a bit monstrous, and that it’s still a sweet love story. Also I’ve written one mermaid fic and I don’t have any other ideas for a plot/motivation to come up with one. 

the good thing is it’s fanfic! if that’s the story you want to read, you can write it! I’d be very happy to not be the only weirdo with a mermaid fic out there
