Reposted from @agppl The elephant taming is a nerve wracking and action packed sequence in the movie that celebrates Akbar’s athletic prowess. In order to prepare Laxmi for her debut role Hrithik had to rehearse with her for months in advance. He would find time in between his schedule to see her, feeding her bananas and even singing so that the two became familiar. During filming the crew had to work with an unpredictable animal and worked tirelessly while racing against the clock of a setting sun. There were a number of precautions taken by the production in coordination with the stunt team, the animal trainers, and other crew to ensure the safety of the cast, crew, and most importantly, Laxmi, the star of the show.
