(Okay, but I have got thoughts on Alastors reaction to Husk and Angel and Nifty and Baxter. For once both in Season 1 and in season 2 there are blink and you'll miss it images of Alastor getting between Husk and Angel. For one during his duet with Lucifer where he portrays the 'found family' he stands directly between Angel and Husk and in his recap it has already pointed out how he seemed a bit more upset and even paused it on 'loser Baby' during his recap.
I dunno, I just think Alastors and Husks dynamic even completely platonic is so very interesting especially since I saw someone point out that before their confrontation Alastor touches Husk the same way that Rosie touches him. And Alastor having the whole 'pet' thing from Rosie is also such an interesting angle especially since now Alastor is free from that deal. Is that going to affect his behavior around Husk? Another interesting discussions I have seen is some people pointing out that or analyzing that Alastor had not really enjoyed breaking off his friendship of sorts with Vox a long time ago and I am curious about weither his deal with Husk came before or afterwards. Because maybe Alastor kept Husk alive because they used to have a sort of friendship as well but Alastor betrayed Husk but still chose to keep him (explaining Husks line of Jimmy never.. lies and ... you over it goes down the same every time). But the parallel between Rosie and Alastor and Husk and Alastor is also interesting because I think it is rather obvious that Rosie in her own way is fond of Alastor just as I like to think that Alastor is fond of Husk in a messed up way.
And then there is Nifty. No matter what some folks who say that Alastor is 1000 percent pure evil and does not care about anyone says, I say that in his own messed up way he likes and cares about Nifty. Which is why Baxter is likely going to face a problem. Because I think one of the reasons Alastor likes nifty is because her loyalty towards him (even though I do think there is a contract) is a bit unconditional. Like this is someone Alastor can trust to never outright betray him, there are just times where Niftys attention will be elsewhere like on bugs but he would not get angry with her on that. But Baxter could pose a threat if Alastor decides to go against the Hotel in season 3. Because he needs both Niftys and Husks loyalty for that and Alastor might view Baxter as a threat to this unique bond he has with Nifty especially if there ever is a scene where Nifty unintentionally ignores Alastor in favour of Baxter. Like Alastor would not like that in the least.
Overall Angel and Baxter could be threats to Husks and NIftys loyalty to him and I think Alastor is the absolute hypocrite of 'I get to ignore you whenever I want but you better always pay attention to me when I want it.' There would be conflicts if Alastor decides to go against the Hotel because Husk genuinly cares for the Hotel and even Nifty made friends. And I saw someone post mini-scenes that for a few short seconds Alastors mimic changed when Nifty and Husk arrived. Because I do think that he planned to lose from the start but Nifty and Husk fighting the Vees was probably a nice experience and he would like the knowledge that in the rematch they also defeated Velvet and Valentino.
Overall, I do think that there is some sentimental but also practical attachment to Husk and Nifty but not exactly seeing the two of them as friends and people and more as extensions of himself if that makes sense? And he would not like seeing that two souls he can and wants to call his own (every other Overlord he could have had is dead) having other priorities and potentially other loyalties now that Alastor is finally free and will likely put a plan that will put him in opposition to the Hotel. Still, I do think the leash-pulling would be different. Husk would feel it and I think in that moment Husk, intelligent as he is, would be able to tell that Alastor is no longer on a leash. I like to think that Alastor would most likely threaten Baxter and not Nifty directly.
