Day 5 - Film you’re thankful for or Hands On
I’m thankful for You’re Ugly Too because it offered Aidan a chance to play a good guy. I remember in an interview about this film Aidan said his mother wanted to see him smile and she thought Aidan had played too many dark roles.🤣
So this film can satisfy those who want to see him play a good character. (I am one of them😉)
*Added* When I first watched this film I loved it immediately because it feels real, and many scenes are interesting. As Aidan mentioned, they didn’t rehearse before shooting, so everything just came out quite naturally.
I haven’t been feeling very creative this week, but I wanted to give heartfelt thanks to Aidan Gillen for helping re-light my writing path. After years of exhausting myself on the corporate track and with new family responsibilities, I suddenly found myself creatively empty for a time. I was low key fangirling for Petyr Baelish but I was scared to write a PxS... until the simping grew and I had to heed the call.
I thank Aidan’s portrayal of Petyr for reigniting and re-inspiring me creatively.
The man masters kissable-cocky with one smirk-and-eyebrow raise that makes my knees weak.
I don’t know how long it would have taken without him and stories I’ve produced would look entirely different.
Thank you Aidan, thank you Petyr, and thank you PxS community!
