Since coming out to myself as trans I’ve been really struggling with mental health and feeling myself to be so far from where I want to be (having ppl use my name/correct pronouns, starting t, top surgery etc) but whenever it gets so bad that I start doubting myself all over again, I go to your blog and listening to your recording of that poem & the combination of those words and your voice gradually dropping gives me so much hope! So all I wanted to say I guess is: thank you ✨

my friend, i cannot express what an honour it is to hear this.......truly beyond me to say how incredible and wonderful that is to me and how moved i am that my silly poem recording could be reassuring to you in any way, and without me even realising it. whilst i was recording the different stanzas i kept thinking 'this is foolish why am i doing this' but now all my regrets are banished, and also i dedicate it to you so you can have it [deposits it in your hand]. thank you so much for telling me this, i am behind you all the way in your transition and in all other things and i hope things are as easy for you as they can be, and that you are as gentle with yourself as you can manage. i am here if you want to talk about anything too ❤️❤️❤️ i love you very much
