Vidia shook her head, waving Bolt’s question aside. Therewas no point in getting all of Pixie Hollow in a fit. The symptoms had startedearly that morning, a faint feeling accompanied with the occasional dimming ofthe natural glow that surrounded her. A quick visit to the infirmary had confirmedher worst fears: her light was going out.
It was funny, really; all her life, the fast flyer had beenutterly terrified of this exact moment, fearful of the fact that in a sense,her death was out of her control.
Still, there was no point getting others into a fus over it.
