Saw the new ep on YouTube, found this in the comments and wow this really hits home. At first glance, it looks like a silly, fun episode, but man when Sardonyx was fighting herself over making Smoky feel bad, whoa you suddenly got a little emotionally serious there.

some don't see their child as an -individual- with their own unique style and thoughts [...] wanting what -you- think is best for your kids and wishing to not see them struggle and suffer as you did [...] it's learning to let go and realize they are growing up.
I’d personally like to add: It’s a parent learning to get over their standards and expectations and trying to not turn their child into a carbon copy of them.
Pissed beyond belief. What a lovely way to start off a school morning where I thought I'd be able to all my work the night before (I passed out on it, and it's unfinished), and now I need to speed-rush it second period to get it printed to my first period teacher (grrr), all while having to fight with my bitchy aunt. Fucking hell.
