There’s two ways this could go, either pre-mortem or post-mortem, and while pre-mortem would be… fine (I mostly look the same, but all the stuff about my species would have to be taken to some sort of specialist because we Weren’t Human even though we looked it) if the transformation took my post-mortem appearance…. I’d be cooked. Literally.
To the shock of Absolutely No One, lava tends to be hot. And being made entirely of lava in a universe where you can’t just slap fireproofing spells on everything? That’s gonna suck. If it didn’t come with that major drawback, it’d probably be fine, I guess. I could do the Hat Yoinking that I used to be able to do, and no bones means no joint pain. Also shapeshifting. But honestly I’d rather just stay in this body as long as I’m able to. No place like home and all that.
