Fanon nopes:
I’m going to be honest, there are so many for our fandom that it’s kinda hard to say just one, but here are the big ones:
- Neither of the birds were jerks to each other and their staff? They had a rivalry, sure, but Conductor was NOT passing out drunk in dumpsters, and Grooves was NOT trying to ruin the careers of smaller artists. I’ve seen this in mods too many times and it always makes me sad, tbh.
- Snatcher was NOT a father figure- to me, or to ANYONE else. I messed with that contract to spite him, not because I genuinely wanted to be friends. If I had to name a familiar term, I’d say we were closer to “cousins forced to sit together at a family gathering that won’t stop fighting”
- I know that any characterization of Moonjumper in fan spaces is all we have of him since he was scrapped, but honestly, I can’t find many portrayals of him that were accurate to what I went through. He was clingy, and obsessive, and I feel confident in saying that Snatcher was the less “evil” of the two (although it was more of a lawful evil vs chaotic evil thing). I will say though, he was very funny and I don’t harbour any ill will towards him.
There are more things, but one of them I wasn’t technically privy to on my time on the planet, so I’m not going to list it here.

Canon homesickness:
…You know, in hindsight, it’s a little funny. A planet that I was stuck on by pure chance, where I spent every moment missing my planet and my home… and the second I got back to the planet I missed so dearly, I start missing the tiny little planet in the middle of nowhere in cluster G4B-17.
I think the death loop/time loop helped, tbh. What is friendship if not failing at an extra difficult boss battle several million times over?
Anyway, yeah I miss the planet. I live in the woods now, I take the bus and the train really frequently, I have a beach not too far away- All little things, really, and they mitigate how much I miss it. But there are other things that aren’t as easy to replicate- like the time travel, or the magic, or the spaceships…
Oh well. Maybe some day.

For Transforcanons:
….No thank you. There’s two ways this could go, either pre-mortem or post-mortem, and while pre-mortem would be… fine (I mostly look the same, but all the stuff about my species would have to be taken to some sort of specialist because we Weren’t Human even though we looked it) if the transformation took my post-mortem appearance…. I’d be cooked. Literally.
To the shock of Absolutely No One, lava tends to be hot. And being made entirely of lava in a universe where you can’t just slap fireproofing spells on everything? That’s gonna suck. If it didn’t come with that major drawback, it’d probably be fine, I guess. I could do the Hat Yoinking that I used to be able to do, and no bones means no joint pain. Also shapeshifting. But honestly I’d rather just stay in this body as long as I’m able to. No place like home and all that.
