He let out a long and heavy sigh as he felt the wetness on the back of his shirt. His nice white button down. "At least tell me it's not grape juice or something that's going to eat my skin off," he said with a small impatient tapping of his foot and closed eyes. He didn't want to think about the potentials. "I just bought this shirt..."

the answer hasn't changed in decades. not really. not entirely. clint will always hold a special place in her heart that is all his own. there's a hint of a nose scrunch that is the product of the language used ---- it feels youthful, in that odd way gen-whatever is now a days. ( she wouldn't be surprised if kate had told him all about it. )

“I’ll be okay, Clint. If anyone needs protection, it’s you since you don’t have powers.” He was the one who needed protection since he didn't have powers. Wanda had the powers of a god, with said elder god trapped inside of her as well. She ruminated on what Clint had said to her and then the way it dawned on her the wording he had used. He didn't use the word "need" it was the word "deserved." It wasn't about something she needed; it was about something she deserved. "Okay, maybe you're right that I did deserve being protected."

"Sexiest thing someone has done for me? I mean anytime they wear red lingerie or even take the time to speak my language. I hear Romanian from someone who doesn't know it, showing they took the time to learn it, then that does something to me. I can't explain it and it doesn't happen as often as one might think."

"Can't honestly say I've ever been asked that before. It's definitely one I haven't thought about. I mean I'd say there are plenty of awful songs to give head to. Anything Disney maybe? Just things you wouldn't want associated with it. As for the best? Fuck, I have no idea. Who plays music when that happens?"

Wanda had come back from her home after taking a much-needed sabbatical from work. A cruise was an option, and backpacking across Europe was another. These were tempting options, but none were what Wanda truly wanted for her vacation. Ultimately, she decided to just go with the flow and follow where she wanted to go in the moment, whether it was Paris or London. One thing she hadn't intended was for it to take approximately two months away. She hadn't really told many people that she was going to be away, aside from her family. The other person she had informed of her sabbatical was Clint Barton, who was the person she had asked to house-sit for her.

Her apartment key slid into the lock, causing the mechanism to unlock, allowing her into her apartment. Clint was seated in her apartment, waiting for her to return. She sheepishly smiled at him, averting her violet eyes. "I'm sorry I left on such short notice; I'll give you a heads-up next time in case you want to come." She approaches him, pulling his body close to hers before planting a kiss on his lips.

Clint is unsure having his own kids but would have them with her if she wanted. He's not a good cook but he enjoys cooking the two things he knows how to cook for her. Clint is so not mysterious sadly🤣 He himself does not like to read (too much and nothing at all going on in that noggin) but he would sure as hell let her read to him, he loves that.

Wanda looked at the sheet Clint handed her. Her violet eyes scanned the bingo sheet until she spotted the bingo on the bottom, causing her eyes to light up. "Congratulations on the bingo, my dear, I knew you could do it. For the things you didn't get a match for, like reading and cooking, that's okay. Those things we can do together, like maybe cooking, though I would have you cut or clean while I clean. Children can come along the way later, but I would love to have some with you someday."
