honestly, i don’t care that much for a redemption arc for endeavor. and this is just my own personal opinion. he should regret what he’s done to his family, however, i don’t think we need an entire arc for it. because well, he’s a shit guy and i just don't care. the only reason i would care is for shouto’s development and giving him the closure that he deserves.
also like, what made me so upset about the last chapter was, that shouto had to witness his father’s injury in real time. however terrible their relationship is, that’s still traumatizing to see. shouto knows his father is a great hero in terms of strength and ability, a shit personality and certainly not warm and fuzzy. but, like --- endeavor has always been a pillar of strength for society. and with his future hanging by a thread now, like .... what hope is there ???
