21. Name something you dislike about the day you’re having.Earlier this afternoon, my boyfriend left my house. I’m about to go home to see my parents for Christmas and I won’t see him for about two weeks. It was really sad because we see each other everyday, or almost everyday, and I’ve gotten really spoiled on seeing him whenever I want. I started crying right before he left and he was hugging me and telling me it was going to be okay and I just felt really silly for being sad. But I’m going to miss him a lot.

32. Do you like watching scary movies?Not at all. It’s not blood and gore that bothers me. It’s those suspenseful moments when things could jump out of the shadows at any second. I haaaate it.

35. Did you have a dream last night?I had several, but I can’t really remember any of them. I have a hard time remembering dreams unless I write them down as soon as I wake up.

me too :) i had gender studies, english, a few major philosophy courses, and the courses i enjoyed most- psychology. i also enjoyed the pop culture course i had last semester, but this coming semester, i'm going to focus on the majors .. communications. so you decided you like dentistry more? i'm glad you've figured out what you want to do for the next years of your life! i'm still asking that question to myself everyday. hahaha

it’s so hard to find something you love! I think I’ll love dentistry but we’ll see, it’s all trial and error. (: I’m gonna stick with this, though. I also found out yesterday that my diploma could be extended into a business administration degree at my local college, so that’s a cool option to have! I encourage you to make sure that as you go about your classes and your lessons that you keep in mind WHAT SKILLS and WHAT LESSONS you are learning, by the way! I had a friend who went to an interview the other day, and the interviewer asked her what she had learned from our diploma, and she blanked. She had never thought about it before, and neither had I. It’s important to know what skills you learn when it comes to choosing your future, and it’s easy to lose track sometimes. I mean, when you spend an entire semester learning about theorists and psychoanalysis, it seems like you gain nothing, so you need to challenge yourself to find ways that you can use the things that you’ve learned! Do it before you finish college, trust me! If you can, also, make sure you take any projects that will improve your portfolio, and don’t be afraid to get to know professors, because they will be your best references for any possible job or internship positions. I can personally say that my most challenging and most rewarding moments came from the time that I spent working with local community projects and non-profits, filming and creating free content for them. You build a network, and you also build a portfolio. (and if you don’t know how to use an editing program or a camera, that comes too.) Just a few thoughts, though. Hiya! I just completed my diploma in media and cultural studies this year. The course load included a number of communications courses, and they’re actually changing the name of the program to “communications diploma”, versus media and cultural studies in this coming year. (: What sort of communications courses are you taking? (: I know that there are a varying number, so you could be talking about communications and the media, or business communications, or anything in between. It’s a very broad spectrum of options.
